My name is Christine, and my family is so awesome that you should definitely be keeping up with us. I manage our happy household out of Chicagoland as a stay-at-home mom to our four kids: our seven-year-old twin boys J and B, five-year-old daughter C (also known as King Peter the Boy), and baby boy H. My husband, The Professor, simultaneously teaches college classes, manages a planetarium, and attends full-time graduate school, all while totally rocking at being a great dad and husband. I want to be like him when I grow up, except without all the school and hard reading; instead, I want to stay home, drink coffee, sew, read, and decorate for the rest of my life. Lately I have started teaching some writing classes on the side, which, while awesome, definitely infringes on my crafting time. When I get a chance to blog, I'm likely to be de-mystifying our beloved Orthodox Church, or railing on stupid people who cannot wrap their minds around the phenomenon of twins, or sighing over the strange decisions of our home's former owner.
Now please. Make yourself a fresh pot of coffee and do your best to keep up with us.

Came upon your blog...I like your writing!
I love your huge family! and How you refer to to your job as "managing your household". It's true! I love that wording.
