Piercing the Sky

This weekend, thanks for a friendly tip from a friendly friend, we managed to snag a beautiful unicorn costume from a local consignment store. (For King Peter the Boy. Natch.) I had already bought a few materials to make her a unicorn costume for Hallowe'en, but I jumped on this opportunity because it featured an actual head, something she had specifically requested and that I had sadly told her would be beyond my seamstress abilities. (Or time demands.)

She has, of course, been wearing it constantly.

And spotted on the trip out to the bus stop this morning:

I don't know if I'll be able to peel it off of her between now and October 31st.
