ppps: This is the wool I am using. It is from Michigan, as are many good things. Case in point: My husband is from Michigan. He uses his hand to tell you about his origins and everything. But right now this wool is more useful to me than the hand thing.

No, not a pro--just very stubborn. This kind of cable is very nit-picky and cranky and DANG IT I am this far, I am not turning back. I plan on WILLING it to completion.
