Happy Falker Satherhood!

The father of my children is a wonderful man who constantly sacrifices so that his wife and children can have the best possible life.

Because of his devotion, we got him a kitchen composter.

Yay!

He loves it. It doesn't stink (we've been using it for a couple weeks now), holds quite a bit of scraps, and looks awesome. We fill it, take its contents to the outside compost bin, then start the process over.

Hurrah!

I'll say it again: Happy Falker Satherhood! May all the deserving fathers in your lives find themselves the happy possessors of stylish kitchen composters.

Believe it or not, HomeGoods. (You know, the extension of Marshall's that's just their home section.) I don't know if regular Marshall's home sections will have it, too--I just happened to see it at a HG in Kansas City. Good price, too. We love it, and yes, you do need one.

Anything compostable--biodegradable foodstuff/goods that are not going to spoil. So eggshells, bread, veggies, fruit, and the like are okay, whereas any milk products or meat are not okay. Once it's full, we transfer it to our big, serious compost bin outside.
