Seriously. We've been with Raechel and her family for the past several days, basking in her excellent hostess skills, watching our children play together (mostly) happily, lazing about, and eating, and we haven't taken hardly any photos.
I didn't even get one of all four kids playing together. Instead, I chose (or perhaps my husband chose) to capture our own three children playing together, just like they do in their own home every day.
Way to go, Cases. Way to capture those happy moments.
The good news is that Raechel took a few pictures that may have included more people besides Jack, Baylor, and Charlotte, so I'll get those from her and share them at some point. For now, we four adults are relaxing in the living room, tired after a full Saturday of wrangling children (and garage sale-ing, in Raechel's and my case), pecking away at the three Macs represented by our families. We Cases will be pulling out super early tomorrow (Sunday) morning, around 4:30 AM, to head out to northwestern Virginia to visit his sister, the enormously talented Janie, and her husband, the other Ryan in our lives. We're excited to see Janie and Ryan, but sad to say goodbye to Raechel and Ryan (the other other Ryan in our lives.)
So goodbye, Tennessee. Hello, Virginia. We've got a beautiful, glorious trip ahead of us!

Just started reading your blog... where in Virginia are you going? I live in Va Beach :)
Harrisonburg! So not quite the beach, but we're definitely enjoying the mountains. And the Mennonites, of which there are many. :)
Happy to see another reader!
