Evie Grace

My dear, sweet friend Raechel, whom you've heard me mention time and time again, is going through some incredibly difficult times right now. She and her husband, Ryan, lost their baby girl, Evie Grace, a year ago. Evie was very sick, and when she was born she had already slipped from this world. I highly encourage you to read this post of Raechel's and to stick around for the video. It's worth the eight minutes just to catch a glimpse of Evie's beautiful face. Both Rae and Ry are strong Christians who, though bewildered and sickened by it all, have staunchly stood up in the Lord's name and praised Him through this storm. I want to be like them.

Today we rejoice because Evie is with her Savior. Someday we will meet her. And we will finally get to tell her how much we love her, although we know our love can only compare to a sliver of that of her Heavenly Father's.

Thanks, Christine. This is sweet. We're glad our Evie is (and we are) so loved.

Hoping to have more posts assigned the label "Raechel is my hero on so many levels",
Rae :)
