We're leaving today to spend part of our spring break with Stephen's folks in Michigan, so I don't know how with-it I'll be as far as posting is concerned. We tend to lose track of time when we're with the kids' grandparents--something to do with the free time we suddenly find ourselves possessing--so I might not resurface until next week. We'll be back Wednesday; Stephen has to speak about the solar system to something like 300 6th grade students on Thursday, an obligation which I know is just filling him with loads of glee and delight.
Or not. I wouldn't normally use the words "delight" and "6th graders" in the same sentence.
Anyway, before we go, I'll share a few photos from the last couple days. I love picture posts because all of the work is behind me. I just get to explain! And you know how I love to explain.
Sweet Charlotte lips.
She loves playing with the lens cap.
We've started potty training again.
Jack likes climbing up himself,
although our success record isn't the greatest.
Someday...
I love my little superhero.
I love this little superhero, too.
Much love to you and yours as we head off to Michigan for "spring" break. As much as we enjoy time with Steve's parents, I really wish Michigan would warm up a little earlier. It's never warm enough there this early in the year to really justify calling it "spring break." More like "extended winter break," as my brother-in-law referred to it. (One year before we were married we accompanied my in-laws to Traverse City in northern Michigan for our spring break, where it snowed. I was grouchy about it.) As we bundle up and avoid the outdoors as much as possible, I'll dream of glistening white, sandy Floridian beaches.
Sigh.

Burr. Have fun! We'll be following your lead for our "spring break" as well. We're headed to goood ole Michigan next week.
Ahhh your children are so cute. Enjoy your time with your parents.
Have a great time - and sneak away with Stephen as much as possible!
Also, I can't believe how quickly those boys' hair grows! Ridiculous! They're putting O to shame!
