Such a Big Girl

Believe it or not, Miss Charlotte is 6 months old.

To celebrate the occasion, she happily agreed to sit for a mini photo shoot. She make one request: that she be able to wear her flapper-esque red bow. I thought it was an appropriate accessory.

Actually, she won't technically turn 6 months until the 30th, but wait! There are only 28 days in February! So I guess that means she really just goes straight from 5 to 7 months of age. Weird.

Despite that little hitch, we'll still celebrate. I can't believe she's already half a year old. I can't believe I cooked her inside of me for nine long months. I can't believe it took her so stinkin' long to get here. I can't believe she's here, growing, learning, watching, and just generally acting like a genuine person. I can't believe I've survived 3 kids in diapers for six months.

I can't believe I love putting these ridiculous bows on her head.

Happy half-birthday, Shaw-wit. We love you so very desperately. You are our favorite little baby girl.

In looking at these pictures for the 459th time, I just realized that Charlotte has dimples.

How very divine.

duh, from her auntie Janie. I've been saying that for MONTHS.

I know, I know. All credit goes to you, for sure. I can't think of anyone else with dimples in the family, seriously. I just never saw it before. I'm naturally a skeptic.

Lots of dimples on the Case side! Grandpa Case has dimples ... you just can't see them for the beard. Great Aunt Carolyn had beautiful dimples and so does Great Aunt Bonnie.

Charlotte Anne Case definitely has beautiful Case dimples and she is just adorable!

Super cute! And I think we need a side view of those ADORABLE shoes she has on too! Between the outfit, the bow, the shoes! Wow! Beautiful! Her momma must have good taste :)

What a doll!

You can tell Miss Charlotte that she's inspiring fashion trends around the country--I just bought my own flowered headband from Etsy (with a slightly less expansive flower). Although I probably won't look as cute in it as she does. =)

Oh my goodness, the hat just MAKES it. You definitely have one precious little girl there. And you can just tell she's going to have LOTS of personality! :)
