Just a few random thoughts to jump-start your day.
- Our family is, once again, succumbing to a bought of colds. This is discouraging, to say the least, but I have to remind myself that at least it's not like last winter. (Last winter both boys got approx. 7-8 wicked colds and ear infections each, which eventually led to Baylor getting tubes in his ears. It was a long, long winter.)
- I don't like the stimulus package. Not one bit. It makes my stomach hurt when I attempt to wrap my mind around a trillion dollars. Ugh.
- I didn't see last night's episode of The Office, so don't spoil it for me. But I just need to say that last Sunday's hour-long episode was, quite possibly, in the top 3 of all Office episodes. The first five minutes: priceless. Stephen and I about hyperventilated when the cat came through the ceiling.
- "The fire is shooting at us!" Oh, Andy.
- My favorite episode ever is when Michael burns his foot on the George Foreman grill (because he likes the smell of bacon in the morning) and Dwight gets a concussion rushing to his aid. I love that Jim has to keep spraying Dwight in the face with water to keep him from falling asleep.
- Charlotte is going through a weird stage where she won't fall asleep anywhere but our bed. Maybe it's because she's not feeling well either, but I'm sure someone would think this is a bad habit. Me? Well, she's getting to sleep, so what's the problem?
- I spent some of my birthday money to get the final piece of my vampire love saga puzzle: Breaking Dawn now officially has my address. I'm sort of reading through/skimming the series right now. Yes, I realize I just read them two months ago. That's fine with me. I will eventually move on.
- My favorite? I think I like Eclipse the best.
- I can now officially email people from an address that ends in "keepingupwiththecases dot com." Cool, huh? I feel like a company.
- My in-laws are coming to town this weekend and we are all so excited! They always take such good care of us when they visit. I truly hope they don't get sick. We hope to tackle some home projects when they're here, including finishing up the painting in the boys' room. I'll post pictures of that once it's done--it already looks awesome, even partially finished.
- I wish it were spring, and this is mainly because I can't wait for garage sale season to start back up. I have a BUNCH of stuff I need to sell (Mom and I want to have a sale), plus a BUNCH of stuff I want to find. Raechel and her sister Rebecca got me hooked on garage sale-ing last summer. They are hardcore enough that I pooped out before they were finished. Granted, I was very pregnant, but still, they are hardcore.
- And you should definitely check out Rebecca's blog. She and her husband are in the process of adopting two little boys from Ethiopia, and her blog documents the trials and tribulations (and fun parts!) of anticipating these precious little boys. Plus she puts up pictures of Beatrice, who is just a couple months older than our boys, and she is just a lovely little girl with the poutiest lips I have ever seen.
I should probably wrap it up, as I can hear two little boys coughing and talking upstairs. Breakfast, here we come!
Have a happy Friday!

yay for Breaking Dawn! Eclipse was my favorite the first time through the series. BD was my favorite the second and third time thru. :)
I agree that the Super Bowl episode was among the top 3. I about died laughing at the first five minutes too. And the "Boom. Roasted!" bits at the end almost made me pee my pants.
Also, I have not yet read the Twilight books, but I am in the midst of reading Harry Potter right now. The plan is to finish those and then read Twilight.
I can't wait.
