A Smooth Criminal

So Rod got arrested and I'm a little bit embarrassed to live in Illinois. And I still maintain that he should have been arrested a long time ago just for having criminally bad hair.

I'm just sayin'.

I think what makes me the most mad is that he is accused of withholding aid to a bankrupt Tribune Co. unless it agreed to push certain members of the Trib's editorial board out of their positions. The reason? They had the audacity to criticize him and his policies. In the editorial section.

Freedom of speech, Rod. Freedom of speech. At least the Trib is getting the last laugh now.

I have nowhere else to post this, so I'm posting it here.

I'm in love with the picture of your three babies all together in your sidebar. They are beautiful treasures - even if they occasionally make you want to hide under the covers in hopes that they'll responsibly carry on with their day without you! :)

Love you and

(the first time I accidentally posted as Ryan... in case you were wondering about the mystery post above mine) :)

I agree with you. It's sad to me that he would think he could get away with that. Power really does go to people's heads.. It also just proves everyone's theories that politicians are crooks, when there really are good people out there trying to make a difference. Poor Illinois. It seems almost impossible to keep a non-idiot in office.

You simply must check out this CNN video -- it does a wonderful job poking fun at him.

Eric, I'm so glad you sent me this link! My computer wouldn't play it directly from CNN earlier today, but this one worked. Awesome.
