I think what makes me the most mad is that he is accused of withholding aid to a bankrupt Tribune Co. unless it agreed to push certain members of the Trib's editorial board out of their positions. The reason? They had the audacity to criticize him and his policies. In the editorial section.
Freedom of speech, Rod. Freedom of speech. At least the Trib is getting the last laugh now.

I agree with you. It's sad to me that he would think he could get away with that. Power really does go to people's heads.. It also just proves everyone's theories that politicians are crooks, when there really are good people out there trying to make a difference. Poor Illinois. It seems almost impossible to keep a non-idiot in office.
