Small Fryday

So you know that I keep up with the blog My Charming Kids. You've seen my references to MckMama's mad writing skills and her cute kids' antics (which so resemble what I experience daily), as well as my Not Me! Monday posts. (By the way, Raechel and I have decided to trade off on those bi-weekly. Just in case you were on the edge of your seat.) Well, MckMama is feeling generous and is sponsoring a contest this weekend for anyone with a blog who writes a post referencing the contest.

That's what I'm doing! Right now! Did you already figure that out?

Oh, you're cunning.

She promises a customized blog header for the winner and folks, I could really use that. I've gotten feedback from readers with various computers who say things like, "Um, your picture covered up your post" or "Did you mean for your header to take up THE ENTIRE BACKGROUND?" It's bad, really. I am so inept. I try hard, I promise. I even read blogs about blogs that tell me how to mess with the html, but so far all I've managed to do is erase the code for my header and layer two different free backgrounds on top of one another.

I'm sort of hopeless.

Also, she's thinking of sending some camera goodies, and the Lord knows I love my Fuji S5200 and all it can do. Just yesterday Stephen moved our nearly 2,000 photos (I weed them out, I promise) onto his work computer until we can get an external hard drive and save our beloved Mac from the drag that is Our Family's Love of Picture-Taking.

So anyway, keep your fingers crossed. Thanks, I love you a bunch.

Hello! I came across your blog from the crockpot blog. I just wanted to introduce myself and say that you are very funny! I am also a Christian and I live in Illinois. We moved here 10 months ago from Southern California so I'm blogging about adjusting. I like your blog so I think I'll read it a lot. ;)

I'm voting for you, Stine! And, I'm looking forward to tomorrow, where I'll read about all the things you have not done this week!

Love and kisses and Sunday naps,
Rae
