Dear Aunt Janie,
We really, really like our hats.
You did a really good job getting the pointy-gnome look just right.
Jack's head is a little bigger, so he wears the bigger blue one.
And yes, our Mama did decorate for Christmas over the weekend. We think the tree is fantastic, especially all the sparkly gold ting-ting Mama put everywhere, although Dad is a little confused at why we are listening to "Sleigh Ride" before Thanksgiving.
Anyway, thanks so much for thinking of us and knitting us special caps. Now Charlotte wants one, too!

Yeah! I love the pictures; thanks so much for posting them, Christine! I just knew you'd appreciate the early Christmas cheer. Love that Jack is totally sporting the blue stripes. Very cool. I miss you guys!
